Matthew Kelly is the non-fiction publisher for Hachette, a prominent and esteemed mainstream publisher in Australia. He focuses on good stories, well told, from colonial or contemporary Australia, ranging from military history to popular biography.

He has worked at a variety of publishing companies, including Allen & Unwin, Random House Australia, ABC Books and Hachette Australia.
